  1. Christina, OMG this is a fabulous video!! So funny AND everything Julia says is true…

If I hadn’t already taken this course, I would be signing up again for it. One of the best investments in upgrading my skilss I’ve ever made…

Here are a few of the websites I’ve created with what you taught in the course:

    http://MaritzaParra.com
    http://GreatamericanTeleseminarRoadtrip.com
    http://JeffHerring

Could have done it without you and the Website Creation Workshop!

Thanks prof & looking forward to more fun videos!

      Maritza,
Yes I had SO MUCH FUN, making that video! You are one of my star students. Thanks for those examples of websites, I’ll use them as case studies

    • oops… not enough coffee this morning I guess… I meant I definitely could NOT have created those sites without your super “non tech” teaching!

      “See” you in class!

    • Katrina says:

      Hey Maritiza,

So nice to see a familiar face on this website. I thought your websites looked familiar after watching Christina on her webinar today.

Your endorsement just confirmed that Christina is a top notch professionl teacher and one others should learn from.

I will be joining her class with confidence now.

      Katrina

PS: Christina I am currently working with Maritza on Product creation….she is top notch in that area…you taught her well :)

  2. Martin Wales says:

    Wow Christina!

GREAT job on making a video marketing piece fun!

Love it! You made it easy to watch and to hear more about your “special recipe” for website creation, while making me want to PASS it on. Plus, makes me WANT what you’re ‘cooking up’ too!

(Wish I could get some of my clients to loosen up and play like you have… ;-)

    Way to go Viral!

  3. Tassey Russo says:

Wow! I just loved this marketing video. Not only timely given that the movie just came out, but also because so many clients now see WordPress as a viable alternative to traditional website design/creation.

I’ve already planned to be in the class but I have to agree with Maritza, if I hadn’t already scheduled to be there, I’d sign up right now!

In the Spring, I took your Shoppingcart class, but I can’t wait for the class to start, Christina! Here’s to “cooking up” some websites!

  4. FABULOUS! What a great video! I needed a nice laugh this morning- thank you so much- And thank you for your wonderful patient teaching style!
There is room for creativity in the Geek world! Thank you so much for reminding us all to have fun!

  5. Lou Bortone says:

Great job, Christina! Finally, someone else who’s not afraid to have fun with video and make a point at the same time. A woman after my own heart! Keep up the great work! -Lou

    • Christina Hills says:

      Lou,
That compliment means a lot, especially coming from you. I’m looking forward to having you as a surprise guest expert in the 8 module Workshop. I know my students can learn a lot from your video tips!

  6. Debra Marrs says:

Christina, OMG, this is so funny. I’m rolling on the floor laughing. What a fab idea! And what a fab production by the famous chef/movie star/producer.

It solidifies several points to me that:
    1. website creation can be fun
    2. there’s still time left over to play and enjoy life afterwards, and most importantly
    3. you’re a fun WordPress teacher to learn from too.

I predict your video will be as famous as the wedding dancers.

    Still smiling long after watching…
    Debra

  7. Christina Hills says:

Part of why I did this video was that I wanted to have fun with my marketing! Marketing is fun.

Plus, the Website Creation Workshop is a really fun course. It’s fun for me to teach and it’s fun for me to watch my students
devlop their websites. And especially get the freedom from the ‘tech geeks’ who drive them crazy!

  8. I really enjoyed this very entertaining commercial. I love the movie, as I am sure many others did. This is such a clever idea, Christina! It’s nice to see that our teacher has so many talents. Kind of puts me in a playful mood, too.

  9. Linda Micklr says:

Thank you, Christina and Julia, for injecting FUN and HUMOR into your marketing. A breath of fresh air, for sure, as well as a few great LOL moments! Very creative!

  10. Rob Schultz says:

    Hi Christina:

I echo the comments of many – great to see a marketer take a risk and have some fun. So much of the stuff out there — even the stuff that is supposed to be out there – is still pretty pedestrian.

Just don’t pull a Dan Ackroyd (from the famous Saturday Night Live Skit) and slice yourself during one of the videos.

  11. Duane says:

I dont remember Julia being that hot looking!!!!
Christina, can you cook as well?

I’ll never forget the first time I saw the original Julia back in the early 70′s (I was about 7). I was getting ready to go TrickorTreating and I thought she was a comedian..
Anyone remember the Galloping Gormet or Chef Tell (from PM Magazine)?

  12. Absolutely wonderful video!! I want to build a better website, at least one I can cal my own. Not sure about the log-in time as I am in Scotlandand we have a different time zone from you in the US.

    R-M xx

  13. Katrina says:

    Christina,

Very funny and creative…..I just attended your webinar. You are a very good teacher. I look forward to joining your class and finally putting all the pieces together.

Question if we miss the live webinars will you be providing a recorded link to watch so we don’t miss your fabulous step by step teachings? I usually re-listen and watch late at nite when everyone is a sleep so I can really implement the information.

    Let me Know,

    Katrina

    • Christina Hills says:

      Katrina,
The course will have replays for all the teleseminars and webinar that we do. They will be inside a members area for you to access.

Many students never come live to the calls, and just watch the replays. In fact, all the teleseminars will be podcast, for you to listen to on your iPod.

  16. Christine says:

Well, not sure I like your slams against webmasters… :) Since I’m one at times… but I am definitely interested in using WordPress for myself AND my clients! :) Looking forward to the series.
