What does WordPress have to do with Podcasting?
Posted by: | CommentsSo you may be wondering what WordPress has to do with Podcasting. First let me clarify what Podcasting is:
Podcasting is the automatic delivery of your audios, videos, PDFs, to your audience’s handheld device.
So instead of having your audios and videos JUST on your website, with Podcasting those audios and videos show up on a person’s iPod, iPhone, Zune or any other digital media player. Now if you have a website or blog with WordPress, then this delivery process is much easier because of RSS

RSS in Plain English (Video)
Posted by: | CommentsOne key to understanding WordPress and the power of the feed is to understand RSS (Really Simple Syndication). Now at first glance that term seems kinda techy and geeky, but once you understand it, you see the power of how WordPress gets your website syndicated out over the whole internet. That’s more exposure for you and your business without you having to do anything. WordPress does it all for you.
I found this great little video that explains RSS in 3 min 44 seconds. It uses the term ‘blogs’ but your WordPress Website can be a blog or not a blog.
