These are the Frequently Asked Questions that people have about taking the 8 module Workshop with Christina Hills.

What? – Website Creation Workshop: An Online Teleseminar/Webinar training series
Description:

The Website Creation Workshop is an 8 Module Online course that takes you through the process of creating your own website without a webmaster. Using the WordPress software you will learn how to create a blog or a website that is easy to update, great for the search engines, and does NOT require webmaster skills. You learn hands on by having your own “student project” WordPress Website Installed for you.

Who? – Christina Hills (your teacher/mentor/coach)

Why? – To create and update websites yourself without having to rely on a busy webmaster

When? – Registration for the next course will be in the Spring of 2010

Where? – All Online! From the comfort of your home or office, you listen on the phone or computer and watch online. We meet Tuesdays via Telelseminar (90 min) and you have a choice of Two Webinar Workshops (2 hours each). Plus online mini videos, online study guides (PDF), an interactive student area to mastermind with fellow students, plus a WordPress Website installed for you so you can get started learning WordPress immediately.

How? –  Space is limited so register as soon as the registration page appears. . Each week you will get a phone number to call in on the Tuesday Teleseminar calls, and then on Wednesday and Thursday you will get links to join the webinars with Christina

How much? – Details will be released  in the Spring of 2010.

Guarantee? – If you decide that the class is not right for you, just contact us and you can get a full refund up until the end of the 2nd week, simply return the materials we send you and once we recieve it, we will issue the refund.

Q: When does registration open?
A: We will open the doors for registration in the Spring of 2010

Q: How to I get Registered?
A: Registration will be online.

Q: When does the course start?
A. The schedule has not yet been posted.

Q: What do I need to get started?
A: Nothing! The course will provide you with a “Student Project” WordPress Website installed for you where you can practice everything you are learning and receive hands on assistance from Christina. Fees for your own web hosting account are separate.

Q: Will there be replays if I miss a teleclass or a webinar?
A: Yes, replays are generally available in the classroom within 24-48 hours.

Q: Can I convert my existing website or do I need to start from scratch?
A: You can convert your existing website, but we do recommend you keep your current website up and running until your new website is completed. Many students decide to start a new website from scratch.

Q: How much hands on training does Christina provide?
A: Each Tuesday teleclass is 90 minutes with a handout follow up with 2 live 2 hour Q&A Webinar sessions on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Each week Christina also provides many ‘how to’ videos that cover topics discussed in the class.

Q: What version of WordPress will we be using?
A: Christina teaches the course using wordpress.org and the latest version

Q: How much does it cost?
A:  It changes each semester.  Stay tuned for the announcement.

Q: If I have taken the Website Creation Workshop course before, is there a discount to take it again?
A: If you have taken the Website Creation Workshop course before you may return to any Website Creation Workshop Christina teaches at totally no cost to you. It’s an alumni Bonus!

Q: If I am a returning student how do I get registered?
A: As a past student you will receive an email with a link in it for you to register for the September Website Creation Workshop Class. Each student (new and alumni) must register by the registration date.  (Changes each semester)

Q: What is the guarantee?
