Here are some questions and answers to the most frequently asked questions that I get on the Website Creation Workshop.
Please read through this and make sure you understand all of these items so that you can make the most money from being an affiliate. If you’re not already an affiliate, you’ll want to sign up to become one. However, if you are already an affiliate of Shopping Cart Queen, you do not need to sign up again.

Q: What is the “Website Creation Workshop”?
The Website Creation Workshop is an 8 Week Online Teleseminar/Webinar coaching program by Christina Hills that takes students through the process of creating their own website without a webmaster. Using the self hosted WordPress software students will learn how to create a blog or a website that is easy to update, great for the search engines, and does NOT require webmaster skills. Students learn hands on by having their own “student project” WordPress Website Installed for them.
Q: What is an affiliate program?
An affiliate program is where you sign up to be an affiliate of mine, and I pay you a commission when you refer people to me. The way it works is that once you sign up, you get a specialized affiliate id link. You send people this link in an email, or put it on your web site, and when someone buys one of my training programs through your link, you get paid!
Q: Do I need to have a Shopping Cart Account in order to be an affiliate?
No, you do not need to have a Shopping Cart Account in order to be an affiliate of our programs.
Q: Do I need to have a Website in order to be an affiliate?
No, you do not need to have a Website in order to be an affiliate of our programs. You may promote through your affiliate link through email, on Twitter or Facebook or on your blog.
Q: If I’m already an affiliate through Christina’s Shopping Cart Queen site, do I need to sign up again?
No, you do NOT need to sign up again, you can login by going here (and if you have forgotten your affiliate id, just put in your email address to retrieve it again)
Q: How much does it cost to join the affiliate program?
Absolutely nothing – EVER! It’s 100% Free!

Q. I’ve sent traffic, why don’t I see opt ins in my affiliate members area?
We use Aweber for email subscriber optins, so you will not see leads inside your account
Q. How much is the commission?
The commission for the Spring 2012 Website Creation Workshop will be emailed out to all affiliates.
All affiliates need to be verified that you are a real person before any payouts are mailed.
Other programs of Christina have a different commission structure.
Q. Will there be an Early Bird Bonus for students signing up for the Workshop?
We will be giving an Early Bird Bonus for new students signing up early, watch your emails for that.
Q. May I purchase through my own Affiliate link and receive a commission for my purchase?
No.
While the system will technically let you click on your link to make a purchase, you will not receive a commission for that. The purpose of an affiliate program is not to give yourself a discount, but to promote the Website Creation Workshop to others and earn a referral fee.
Please be aware that affiliates will not be paid for their own purchases through their affiliate id.
If you should purchase the program for yourself, and your affiliate cookie is active, then no worries, we will simply void out that affiliate commission.
This is not considered a referral. Any commissions that appear to be related will be voided.
Q. How do you Track Affiliate Commissions?
We use a “Last Cookie affiliate scenario. In other words…if a prospect clicks on someone else’s link and then later clicks on you link and makes a purchase…you will receive the commission because your link was the last one they clicked on before they made a purchase.
If they click on one of our own links (house links) your link will override the house link and you will receive the commission.
Q. When does the course start?
The next workshop class will start in the Spring of 2012 (February). Exact date has not yet been released.
Q: How do I receive commission for my sales?
The first commission checks are mailed out 2-3 weeks AFTER the refund period has passed. That will be announced once the class starts. Then there will be more payouts after that if people came in on a payment plan. The last payout will be within 30 days of the last payment plan. Each time the program is run, we have different payment plans, so just watch your email for notices.
You must be an approved affiliate before we will pay out a commission. All former students of the course are automatically approved.
I pay all my affiliates by check. Exceptions to this are for affiliates who reside in Canada or outside of the USA. Affiliates who are Canadians or live outside the USA will be paid by PayPal. Let us know if you are outside of the USA.
Q: Where do I submit my W9 Form ?
Before we make any payouts, you must send us by email, fax or snail mail your W9 Form.
If you are a Sole Proprietor and we have paid you over $600 this year you will be receiving a 1099 in January.
If you are a corporation or LLC, this document is for our records only and doesn’t necessarily mean you will receive a 1099 at the end of the year. It is required that we collect a W-9 from you even if you are incorporated. If you are incorporated we do not 1099 you but all you have to do is fill out a W-9 INDICATING to us that you are a corporation. It’s for our records. If the IRS asks us “why didn’t you 1099 them” it is not enough for us to respond with: “because they ‘said’ they were a corp”. It is necessary to have it in writing. The IRS requires us to have the W-9 on file. There is a box for you to check on the W-9 for Corp, LLC, etc. Please read the directions that are included with the W-9 form attached.

Q: When do I receive commission for my sales?
You will get an email notification when you get a commission so you will know what is coming to you. Commission checks are mailed out after the refund period, and after a payment plan has been made.

Q: How will you keep track of the orders coming from my site?
Each visitor is cookied to you. If they come directly to one my site (through one of our links or your links), and make a purchase, you will earn a commission.

All prizes will be mailed out to those individuals that earn them to the address of your choice after we are sure all refunds have been handled after the third week into the course and deducted from your commission.
Please note that if you live outside of the USA then you will receive the cash equivalent for the prize via Pay Pal in order to avoid the issues of paying customs.

Q: How will I know how many sales I have referred?
There are two ways you are notified of each sale you refer. The first is via email. Every time you refer a sale an email will be sent to you.
The second way is to sign in to your personal affiliate website and check the stats. All your statistics are displayed in up-to-the-minute “real-time.”
